Dan Liljenquist

Dan Liljenquist is vice president of Intermountain Healthcare’s Enterprise Initiative Office, which is responsible for driving forward the not-for-profit health care system’s key strategic initiatives. Prior to joining Intermountain in 2012, he was president of Focus Services, a business process services company with over 2,000 employees. He is also a former strategy consultant with Bain & Company. In 2008, Liljenquist was elected to the Utah State Senate, where among other bills, he sponsored SB 180, Utah’s Medicaid ACO enabling legislation. His legislative work on Medicaid and pension reforms earned him numerous national awards, including Governing Magazine’s 2011 Public Official of the Year.
