David Fajgenbaum, co-founder of Every Cure and author of Chasing My Cure, is also a patient battling a deadly disease for which he discovered a treatment that is saving his life and others. He has also identified and advanced 11 other repurposed treatments. Fajgenbaum is a physician-scientist at the University of Pennsylvania and one of the youngest Penn Medicine professors to receive tenure. He recently co-founded Every Cure to unlock the full potential of FDA-approved medicines to treat every disease possible. An awardee of multiple NIH and FDA grants, Fajgenbaum has published in journals such as the New England Journal of Medicine, Lancet, and Journal of Clinical Investigation. He has been profiled by The New York Times, “TODAY,” and others and received numerous awards, including Forbes 30 under 30 and the 2016 Atlas Award.
