Debby Herbenick is a professor at the Indiana University School of Public Health and director of the Center for Sexual Health Promotion. She has taught human sexuality classes to thousands of college students and, since 2009, has led the award-winning National Survey of Sexual Health and Behavior, a multi-wave nationally representative survey of Americans’ sexual attitudes, behaviors, and interests. Herbenick is the author of five best-selling books about sex, love, and relationships, including Because It Feels Good: A Woman’s Guide to Sexual Pleasure and Satisfaction. She is the former president of the American Association of Sexuality Educators, Counselors, and Therapists (AASECT) and is an AASECT-certified sexuality educator.
