Danielle Harris is managing director of engagement and innovation at Elemental Excelerator, which uses a nonprofit model to fund climate tech deployment and has invested in over 100 companies. Her role includes working toward an equitable and resilient transition of markets, environments, and neighborhoods in response to the climate crisis. A passionate advocate for environmental and racial justice, Harris previously led Elemental’s mobility strategy as director of mobility innovation, doubling the size and diversity of the portfolio. Prior to joining Elemental, she had a nine-year career at the City and County of San Francisco, where she witnessed firsthand the impact of tech on the city, which led to her shaping the San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency Office of Innovation.
