Donnell Bailey is the regional development director of Teach Plus, empowering teachers to lead policy and practice issues that advance equity, opportunity and student success. Prior to this, he was an education policy intern for U.S. Senator Mary Landrieu, then served in the Obama White House working on the My Brother’s Keeper initiative. Previously, Bailey co-led the Squared Network, securing partnerships and funding for first-generation students for college and supported Tulane University’s diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives. Earlier in his career, he managed programs, secured partnerships and expanded the intersectional portfolio at Democrats for Education Reform-Louisiana.
