Doug Ducey
Former Governor, State of Arizona
Doug Ducey is a former governor of Arizona, first elected in 2014 and serving two terms until January 2023. He balanced a $1 billion budget deficit in his first year in office without raising taxes, invested in public education and teacher pay, and cut regulations to stimulate economic growth, among other initiatives. He also co-chaired the Republican Governors Association in 2022 and chaired it in 2021. Ducey was previously Arizona state treasurer from 2011 to 2015. Before entering public office, he had a successful business career. As CEO of Cold Stone Creamery, he helped grow the business from a few scoop shops in Tempe to over 1,400 stores in 50 states. Prior to that, Ducey was a sales and marketing executive at Proctor & Gamble.
