Ed Williams

Ed Williams is president and CEO of Edelman EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa), where he advises senior executives on corporate communications and strategy. He previously led the UK and Ireland branches of the global communications firm for eight years. Prior to that, Williams oversaw corporate affairs and communications for global media companies the BBC and Reuters. He started his career in newspaper and television journalism. Williams is chair of the Aspen Institute UK Board of Trustees; his other board services include the Royal College of Art, the Woolf Institute in Cambridge, the International Crisis Group Advisory Council, the Institute for Strategic Dialogue, and The New European. He has an honorary fellowship from Goldsmiths University.
