Jonathan Bogarín is co-director of El Tigre Productions, where he produces nonfiction films and creates digital content for museums and brands. His first feature, 306 Hollywood, premiered at the 2018 Sundance Film Festival as the first documentary included in its NEXT section; it will be released in September in partnership with the Sundance Institute, broadcast on POV, and streamed on Amazon. When not making films, Bogarín is a visual artist and educator who has created community-based projects throughout the United States and Venezuela. In 2017, he and his sister Elan were named among Filmmaker Magazine’s 25 New Faces of Film. Their supporters include NYSCA, Just Films/Ford Foundation, IFP, and Hot Docs.
