Elizabeth Métraux is communications director for Primary Care Progress, leading its research and scholarship and sharing stories from the front lines of primary care. She hosts the health care podcast, “Relational Rounds” and leads a study on attitudes and perspectives of primary care clinicians. Previously, Métraux worked in communications at the National Institutes of Health and led communications and behavior-change marketing for global health campaigns. She’s been a communications advisor for State Department-funded initiatives to accelerate change in the Middle East, North Africa, and former Soviet Union and worked in civil society development during the Iraq and Afghanistan wars. Métraux began her career in domestic and international political campaign management.
