Eric Wei

Eric Wei is senior vice president and chief quality officer for NYC Health + Hospitals, as well as clinical associate professor of emergency medicine at NYU Grossman School of Medicine, adjunct professor at NYU School of Global Public Health, and fellowship director for the NYC Health + Hospitals Clinical Leadership Fellowship. A fellow of the American College of Emergency Physicians, he is a practicing emergency medicine physician. Previously, Wei was interim CEO of NYC Health + Hospitals /Elmhurst and Harlem Hospitals and interim chief quality officer and associate medical director for quality, safety, and risk for LAC + USC Medical Center. Wei was named in the Becker’s Hospital Review Top 50 Experts Leading the Field of Patient Safety, Modern Healthcare’s 50 Most Influential Clinical Executives, and Crain’s Business New York 40 Under 40.
