Erin McLaughlin is a correspondent for NBC News. She reports for all NBC News, MSNBC, and digital platforms including “Nightly News,” “The Today Show,” and “NBC NewsNow.” McLaughlin has reported on the Ukraine/Russia war from locations across Ukraine and Eastern Europe since January 2022. She has also provided in-depth coverage of the COVID-19 pandemic. She joined NBC News in 2019 and has covered international news stories, including the Trump/Ukraine scandal from Kyiv, as well as domestic news including the 2021 Boulder supermarket shooting, violent protests following the death of George Floyd, and California wildfires. Prior to NBC News, McLaughlin was an international correspondent for CNN based in London.
