Fareed Zakaria is a journalist and writer. A bestselling author, his books include “Age of Revolutions,” “Ten Lessons for a Post-Pandemic World” and “In Defense of Liberal Education.” Zakaria previously hosted the PBS news show “Foreign Exchange with Fareed Zakaria,” was a news analyst with ABC and has been a columnist for TIME and Newsweek, editor of Newsweek International and managing editor of Foreign Affairs. His honors include an Emmy and Peabody awards for his television work, the National Magazine Award, Ukraine’s Order of Merit and being named one of Foreign Policy magazine’s Top 10 Global Thinkers of the Last 10 Years in 2019.
