Weatherization Auditor and Inspector, MAHUBE-OTWA Community Action Partnership
Gerilyn Lopez is a weatherization auditor and inspector at MAHUBE-OTWA Community Action Partnership, a nonprofit community action agency serving low-income families over five counties in northwestern and west-central Minnesota. She acquired her building analyst certificate through the Building Professions Institute in Fond du Lac, Minnesota in 2022 and earned her solar certificate through an internship at White Earth Tribal College in Mahnomen, Minnesota. Lopez is a member of the White Earth Tribe in central Minnesota. She has cultivated her passion and interests into working with her tribe to advance wind and solar energy in the community and communicating and educating on energy efficiency while inspiring future growth of women and youth in the industry.
