Gloria Estefan is a singer, songwriter, and actress. She has sold over 100 million records worldwide, is the executive producer of the Broadway musical On Your Feet!, and author of two New York Times best-selling children’s books. Estefan is also the founder of the Gloria Estefan Foundation, which supports charitable programs for disadvantaged children as well as spinal cord research through the Miami Project to Cure Paralysis. Her recognition includes eight Grammy awards, an American Music Award for Lifetime Achievement, induction into the Latin Songwriters Hall of Fame, the Gershwin Prize for Popular Song, and the Presidential Medal of Freedom.
