Grant Canary is founder and CEO of DroneSeed and Silvaseed, its subsidiary, reforestation company. Using drone swarms to reforest after wildfire, it was named the World’s Most Innovative Company in Robotics by Fast Company in 2021. Previously, he was vice president of project development at Enterra Feed Corporation. Prior to that, Canary held positions at Vestas wind energy in China, Denmark, and the United States. Earlier in his career, he founded BioSystems Co in Bogotá, Colombia, which utilized food waste to feed insect larvae for use as industrial fish feed. Canary is a Mulago Foundation fellow.
