Greg Gershuny is executive director of the Aspen Institute Energy and Environment Program, which works to take greater action on solving climate change, and co-director of Aspen Ideas: Climate, a public forum focused on climate solutions. From 2013 to 2016, Gershuny was chief of staff for energy policy at the US Department of Energy. He previously served in several roles in the Obama White House. He was director of energy and environment in the Office of Presidential Personnel, worked on science and STEM education policy in the Office of Science and Technology Policy, and was a research associate for technology and innovation policy for the National Economic Council.
