Hal Harvey is CEO of Energy Innovation, an energy and environmental policy firm. He previously founded and led ClimateWorks Foundation, a network of foundations promoting policies to reduce the threat of climate change, and the Energy Foundation, a philanthropy supporting policy advancing renewable energy and energy efficiency. From 2001 to 2008, Harvey was environment program director at the William and Flora Hewlett Foundation. He has been appointed to energy panels by two US presidents and wrote two books and dozens of articles on energy and national security issues. A senior fellow for energy and the environment at The Paulson Institute, his current service includes board president of the New-Land Foundation and board member of Fifth Third Bank.
