Harry Tannenbaum is the co-founder and president of Mill, a company that has built a new system to prevent waste, starting with food. Previously, he led the centralized analytics group and e-commerce business at Nest, a company that developed the first machine-learning thermostat. During his time at Nest, Tannenbaum helped to scale the business to more than $1 billion in annual revenue, leading to its acquisition by Google, where he was a director in Google’s hardware organization focused on e-commerce and subscription offerings. Prior to Nest, Tannenbaum briefly worked at an investment bank, before deciding he wanted to work in climate.
