Helen Egger is the Arnold Simon Professor and chair of the Department of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at NYU Langone Health, where she directs the Child Study Center. A child psychiatrist, epidemiologist, and digital health innovator, Egger leads a department working on advancing children’s mental health. She founded the NYULH WonderLab, a multidisciplinary team that creates digital products for child mental health research and clinical care, and has launched early childhood studies on autism and picky eating. Egger co-directs the NYULH Digital DesignLab and founded early childhood mental health start-up Little Otter. Previously at Duke University, she led the Division of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and directed the Early Childhood Research Program in the Duke Center for Developmental Epidemiology.
