Hina Baloch is the executive director of climate change communications and strategy at General Motors. Prior to this, she held senior positions at GM, including leading research and data analytics; diversity, equity, and inclusion; STEM education; and corporate social responsibility strategy. Previously, Baloch worked in bilateral trade and diplomacy with the British government, focusing on central and south Asian countries. She has also worked as a researcher with Brookings Institute and Results for Development in Washington DC. Baloch is a recipient of a UNESCO fellowship at University of Pennsylvania and a Fulbright-Hubert H. Humphrey fellowship at Penn State University. She is a board member of Michigan Energy Council, AI4All, and Smithsonian Science Center. Baloch’s recognition includes being named to PR Week’s Dashboard 25 as one of the most influential people in communications, data, and technology.
