J. Stephen Jones

J. Stephen Jones is president and CEO of Inova Health System and a professor of urology at the University of Virginia. Jones previously served as president of Cleveland Clinic Regional Hospitals and Family Health Centers, where he earlier was department chair and held the Leonard Horvitz and Samuel Miller Distinguished Chair in Urologic Oncology, now renamed the J. Stephen Jones Distinguished Chair. While he chaired the Department of Urological Surgery at the Springfield Clinic/St. John’s Health System in Missouri, the department became the highest rated U.S. community urology program, according to U.S. News & World Report. Jones is editor-in-chief of Urology Practice; has published over 200 peer-reviewed manuscripts, over 40 book chapters, and two books; is editor of five medical textbooks; and has edited other journals and served on editorial boards.
