Jacqueline M. Welch

Jacqueline Welch is an executive vice president and the chief human resources officer of The New York Times. She is also a member of the company’s executive committee, reporting to the CEO. Prior to this, Welch was senior vice president, chief human resources officer, and chief diversity officer at Freddie Mac. Previously, she was a senior vice president at Turner Broadcasting System, first of talent management and diversity and then of international human resources. Earlier in her career, Welch’s experience in HR strategy and execution included positions at WestRock, Accenture (formerly Andersen Consulting), and Willis Towers Watson (formerly Towers Perrin). She is a board member of Habitat for Humanity of Northern Virginia, the Human Resources Policy Association, and Buckman.
