Jake Barton is the founder and principal of Local Projects design firm, creating museums and public spaces, including the 9/11 Memorial and Museum, Greenwood Rising Black Wall Street History Center and Cooper-Hewitt Smithsonian Design Museum. Barton is also the creator of the Accelerator, an immersive experience catalyzing action around the climate crisis. An Emerson Collective Climate fellow, his TED Talk has over 1 million views. Barton’s recognition includes being named to Fast Company’s top 50 designers list.
