Jamie Margolin

Co-Founder, Zero Hour; Student, NYU Tisch School of the Arts

Jamie Margolin is an 18-year-old organizer, activist, and public speaker. She’s a film and TV student at NYU Tisch School of the Arts and co-founder of the international youth climate justice movement Zero Hour, which led Youth Climate Marches in over 25 cities globally in 2018. For Zero Hour, Margolin helped organize events including  the 2019 Youth Climate Summit in Miami and the Youth Climate Lobby Days on Capitol Hill in 2018 and in 2019. She’s a plaintiff in the Our Children’s Trust lawsuit, Aji P. v. State of Washington, author of the book Youth to Power: Your Voice and How to Use It, and was a delegate for Bernie Sanders at the 2020 Democratic Convention.
