Jeff Greene is senior director for cybersecurity programs at Aspen Digital at the Aspen Institute. Prior to this, he was chief of cyber response and policy in the National Security Council’s Cyber Directorate, where he led the defensive cyber and incident response efforts. Greene previously was director of the National Cybersecurity Center of Excellence at the National Institute of Standards and Technology. He was also vice president of global government affairs and policy at Symantec. Earlier in his career, Greene worked on both the House and Senate homeland security committees, was counsel to the Senate’s special investigation into Hurricane Katrina, and practiced law in Washington, D.C. His recognition includes being named a Federal 100 Award recipient by Government Executive.
