Jeh Johnson is a partner with the law firm of Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison. He was US secretary of homeland security from 2013 to 2017. Johnson also served as general counsel of the Defense Department from 2009 to 2012, general counsel of the Department of the Air Force from 1998 to 2001, and an assistant US attorney for the Southern District of New York from 1989 to 1991. He’s a director of Lockheed Martin, a Fellow in the American College of Trial Lawyers, and a member of the Council on Foreign Relations. Johnson frequently lectures at Harvard, Yale, Oxford, and other universities and is a nonresident Senior Fellow at Harvard Kennedy School.
