Jeni Britton Bauer is the founder and chief creative officer of Jeni's Splendid Ice Creams, which she founded in 2002. She opened her first ice cream shop, Scream, in 1996. Bauer is the author of the cookbooks The Artisanal Kitchen: Perfect Homemade Ice Cream; Jeni’s Splendid Ice Cream Desserts; and Jeni’s Splendid Ice Creams at Home, which was a New York Times and Wall Street Journal best-seller and James Beard Award winner. As a public speaker, she champions creativity and entrepreneurship. A 2017 Henry Crown Fellow within the Aspen Global Leadership Network at the Aspen Institute, Bauer has been recognized by Fast Company as one of the most creative people in business.
