Jennifer Dixon is chief executive of the Health Foundation, a health charity in the United Kingdom. From 2008 to 2013, she was chief executive of the Nuffield Trust and, prior to that, policy director at The King’s Fund and policy advisor to the chief executive of the NHS (National Health Service) from 1998 to 2000. Earlier, Dixon practiced mainly as a pediatrician. She’s held visiting professorships at London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, London School of Economics, and Imperial College Business School. Dixon is an elected Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and was awarded a royal CBE for services to public health in 2013.
