Jennifer Tyler is senior director of government affairs for Citizens’ Climate Lobby, where she coordinates a national grassroots lobbying force of over 220,000 supporters and 380 chapters. With her support, Citizens’ Climate Lobby staff and volunteers played a key role in the passage of six bipartisan federal laws, five state laws, and the climate provisions of the Inflation Reduction Act. Previously, Tyler spent eight years in the U.S. Congress in various staff positions, developing relationships on both sides of the aisle and crafting and advancing bipartisan legislation. She was most recently deputy chief of staff and legislative director for former New York congressman John Katko, and started her congressional career as an intern and tour coordinator in 2014.
