Jennifer Breheny Wallace is the founder of The Mattering Institute and co-founder of The Mattering Movement, working to foster cultures of mattering in homes, workplaces, communities, and schools. She is also a New York University faculty member and a journalism fellow at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia’s Center for Parent and Teen Communication. Wallace advises the University of Michigan Well-being Collective and Harvard’s Making Caring Common. She began her career as a "60 Minutes" producer at CBS and writes for The Wall Street Journal and The Washington Post. Wallace is the author of “Never Enough: When Achievement Culture Becomes Toxic – and What We Can Do About It” and the forthcoming “Mattering in the Modern World: A Solution for the Crises of Our Time.” She is a Coalition for the Homeless board member.
