Jeremy O. Harris

Jeremy O. Harris is a playwright and actor. He wrote and created Slave Play, the most Tony-nominated Broadway play ever and recipient of several other awards. He co-wrote the film Zola, which premiered at Sundance in 2020, and is currently adapting the sci-fi epic The New World for Warner Bros. Pictures. In television, Harris is in an overall deal with HBO and is a co-producer on its hit series “Euphoria.” He is a 2016 MacDowell Colony Fellow, an Orchard Project Greenhouse artist, a resident playwright with Colt Coeur, and is under commission from Lincoln Center Theater and Playwrights Horizons. Among many other honors, Harris is the Human Rights Campaign’s (HRC) 2020 honoree.
