Jessica Brillhart is an immersive director, writer, and theorist. Through her mixed reality studio, Vrai Pictures, she’s worked with groups including NASA and Bose to make a range of immersive experiences. Previously, Brillhart was Google’s principal filmmaker for VR, helping develop Google Jump. Among other projects, she was an advisor for Sundance New Frontiers and the Independent Film Project, judged at SXSW and Tribeca Film Festival, and her Medium publication, In the Blink of a Mind, has been used by universities and master classes. A speaker at tech festivals, she was named to MIT’s 2017 TR35 list and won SXSW’s Special Jury Prize for The Future of Experience for her spatial audio platform, Traverse.
