Jhana Porter is founder and CEO of Frakktal, a materials company developing polymers built from plant overages as an alternative to fossil-fuel-based feedstocks, specifically for the built environment. She has more than 20 years in the biotech industry with a focus on building processes and systems and matching technology with business needs. Porter has sat on teams for several greenfield biotech buildouts, leading IT, project management and quality initiatives. She was selected as a 2023 innovator for IMPEL, a U.S. Department of Energy tech-to-market program focused on building technologies. As part of this program, she presented at the Energy Department’s Building Technologies Office peer review event and the 2023 U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development Innovative Housing Showcase.
