Jim Rechtin was appointed president and CEO of Envision Healthcare in February 2020, where he has supported 25,000 clinicians while navigating the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic. With more than 20 years of health care experience, Rechtin’s expertise focuses on the delivery of value-based care in the medical group setting. At Envision he has elevated diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts and clinician wellness, committed to caring for those who care for others. Prior to Envision, he served as president of OptumCare, and, before that, as president of DaVita Medical Group. Early in his career, Rechtin was a partner at Bain & Company, ran operations for a nonprofit health clinic in Indianapolis, and served in the US Peace Corps in the Congo.
