John Donvan is the moderator of Open to Debate (formerly known as Intelligence Squared U.S.), a nonprofit, nonpartisan debate-driven media organization, since 2008. He is also an author and correspondent for ABC News, having served as White House correspondent along with postings in Moscow, London, Jerusalem, and Amman for over three decades. Earlier in his career, Donvan was a foreign correspondent for CNN and worked in local TV and radio news. He is co-author of In a Different Key: The Story of Autism and premiered his first one-man show, “Lose the Kid,” in 2013. Donvan is a four-time Emmy Award winner and was a National Magazine Award finalist in 2010.
