Julia Boorstin is senior media and tech correspondent at CNBC, where she also contributes reporting and analysis to the “TechCheck” program. Previously at the network, Boorstin was a general assignment reporter, created the CNBC Disruptor 50 list, reported a documentary on the future of television and led coverage of people and companies closing the gender gap. Prior to this, she was a business reporter at Fortune and contributor to CNN. Earlier in her career, Boorstin worked for the State Department’s delegation to the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development and in former Vice President Gore’s domestic policy office. Boorstin is the author of “When Women Lead.” Her recognition includes being named to The Journalist and Financial Reporting’s 30 under 30 most promising business journalists list.
