Julie Sweet is CEO of Accenture and incoming board chair, in September 2021. Prior to becoming CEO in 2019, she was CEO of Accenture’s business in North America and the company’s general counsel, secretary, and chief compliance officer. Sweet previously was a partner at the law firm Cravath, Swaine & Moore. She serves on the World Economic Forum Board of Trustees and the Business Roundtable board, where she chairs the Technology Committee. She also chairs the board of Catalyst and is a board member of the Center for Strategic and International Studies and the Marriott Foundation for People with Disabilities’ Bridges from School to Work program. In 2020, Sweet was No. 1 on Fortune’s Most Powerful Women in Business list.
