Karen Biddle Andres is director of impact strategy of the Financial Security Program at the Aspen Institute. There, she is also project director of the Retirement Savings Initiative and a founder of the Collaborative for Equitable Retirement Savings, working to close racial and gender wealth gaps by making capital markets more inclusive. Prior to this, Andres was vice president of network engagement, then senior vice president and head of long-term saving and retirement, at Financial Health Network (formerly the Center for Financial Services Innovation), developing financial products for underserved consumers. Andres began her career as a bilingual 401(k) plan educator for Strong Funds and Wells Fargo Institutional Trust Services.
