Kate Shearer
Director, Sustainability and Corporate Social Responsibility, Sodexo
Kate Shearer is director of sustainability and corporate social responsibility at Sodexo's Campus segment. She is responsible for enacting the firm’s Better Tomorrow 2025 and Net Zero 2040 roadmaps in support of its university partners. Prior to joining Sodexo in 2012, Shearer spent four years in Australia training small producers in sustainable agriculture with the National Parks Association of NSW and University of Sydney. She began her career with the Rainforest Alliance, connecting corporate supply chains with sustainable farmers and forest communities. Shearer holds a master’s of public administration in environment and energy policy and management from Columbia University’s School of International and Public Affairs.
