Kathy Hannun is the co-founder and president of Dandelion Energy home geothermal company, empowering homeowners to avoid over 35,000 metric tons of carbon emissions to date. Prior to this, she was investor subcommittee chair at California Sustainable Energy Entrepreneur Development Initiative. Previously, Hannun was a product manager on the rapid evaluation team at Google’s X, leading technological due diligence and product development for early stage projects. She has been recognized as a TED Fellow, one of Fast Company’s most creative people in business, one of MIT Technology Review’s “35 under 35,” and the recipient of a C3E Award from the US Department of Energy.
