Kathy Ko Chin is president and CEO of the Asian & Pacific Islander American Health Forum, which influences policy, mobilizes communities, and strengthens organizations to improve the health of Asian Americans, native Hawaiians, and Pacific Islanders. With strong values from her immigrant parents, her life’s work has built community institutions that contribute to a just and multiracial society. Chin served on President Obama’s Advisory Commission on Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders. A current trustee of the Kresge Foundation, her previous board service includes the Angel Island Immigration Station Foundation, CompassPoint Nonprofit Services, Public Health Institute, and California Pan-Ethnic Health Network.
