Katie Rich is a writer for “Saturday Night Live.” Her comedy career started at Chicago’s Second City Touring Company, where she was promoted to the Second City Mainstage and wrote and performed three reviews, including the critically acclaimed South Side of Heaven. Rich has performed widely, from TBS’ Just for Laughs to Ireland’s Cat Laughs Comedy Festival. Commercial acting credits include Discover Card, Wal-Mart, Sonic Drive-in, and Lexus, and her movie credits include Let Freedom Hum, The Ice Harvest, and Bad Johnson. She has worked as a corporate trainer and is an award-winning copywriter, whose campaigns include KFC’s “I Ate the Bones” and Big Lots’ “Stand-Up Mom.”
