Keith Sawyer is the Morgan Distinguished Professor in Educational Innovations at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill. Prior to this, he was a management consultant in Boston and New York, advising large corporations on the strategic use of information technology. Sawyer began his career designing video games for Atari. A leading scientific expert on creativity, collaboration, and learning, he speaks to associations and corporations around the world. Sawyer has published 120 scientific articles, and his research has been featured on CNN, Fox News, and NPR as well as in TIME, The New York Times, and The Wall Street Journal. He is the author of 17 books, including Group Genius: The Creative Power of Collaboration and Zig Zag: The Surprising Path to Greater Creativity.
