Kevin Kelly is senior maverick at Wired magazine, which he co-founded in 1993 and was executive editor of for its first seven years. He is also co-chair of The Long Now Foundation, an organization that champions long-term thinking, and founder of the Cool Tools website, which has been reviewing tools daily for 20 years. Previously, Kelly was the publisher and editor of Whole Earth Review and co-founded the ongoing Hackers Conference. His writing has appeared in The Economist, TIME, and Science, and his photographs have appeared in LIFE, among other publications. The author of many books, including The Inevitable, Out of Control, and What Technology Wants, his latest is Excellent Advice for Living, a book of 450 modern proverbs for a good life.
