Kim Carnahan is the founder and CEO of Neoteric Energy and Climate, an advisory firm working to solve decarbonization challenges. Prior to this, she was senior director of net zero fuels for the Americas at ENGIE Impact. Previously, Carnahan was negotiations branch chief, and then chief negotiator for climate change, at the U.S. State Department. There, she managed the team of 13 government agencies that negotiated the Paris Agreement as well as energy and environment agreements at the International Civil Aviation Organization and International Maritime Organization. Carnahan is an adviser to the Sustainable Aviation Buyers Alliance and Zero Emission Maritime Buyers Alliance.
