Krista Tippett is creator and host of “On Being,” the public radio show and podcast that takes up the questions of meaning in 21st-century life. She founded and leads The On Being Project, a nonprofit media and public-life initiative. A Peabody Award-winning broadcaster, Tippett launched “On Being” as “Speaking of Faith” in 2003 and was awarded the National Humanities Medal for her work in 2014. Early in her career, she was a journalist and diplomat in Cold War Berlin. A New York Times best-selling author, Tippett’s books are Becoming Wise: An Inquiry into the Mystery and Art of Living, Einstein’s God: Conversations About Science and the Human Spirit, and Speaking of Faith. She has a master’s degree in divinity from Yale University.
