Lauren Faber O'Connor is an operating partner at Lowercarbon Capital, leading strategic partnerships to scale technology that addresses the climate emergency. Prior to this, she was chief sustainability officer of Los Angeles, developing and guiding the city’s green transition. There, O'Connor also oversaw the Climate Mayors and C40 mayoral climate action organizations. Previously, she was West Coast political director for Environmental Defense Fund and assistant secretary for climate change at the California Environmental Protection Agency. Earlier in her career, O'Connor was senior policy adviser at the British Embassy in Washington, D.C. She is a member of the Aspen Global Leadership Network at the Aspen Institute.
