Lauren Simmons

Lauren Simmons is a motivational speaker and her own brand. A former equity trader for Rosenblatt Securities, she made history by becoming the youngest member of the New York Stock Exchange and only its second African American female trader in 226 years. In traveling the world speaking, Simmons’s message is to bring awareness to the lack of diversity in the financial industry; in doing so she hopes to create financial wealth for Millennials, Gen-Zers, women, and minorities. She is endorsed by Ford, Invisalign, Linkedin, and Champs and is executive producing a film on her story. In 2018, Simmons was named POLITICO’s Woman of the Year. Simmons is participating in the Aspen Ideas Festival as a 2019 Scholar.
