
Leslie Davenport is a climate psychology educator, consultant and psychotherapist working at the intersection of climate, education, policy and social justice. She is the program lead and core faculty for California Institute of Integral Studies’ climate psychology certification. Previously, Davenport helped shape the guide, “Mental Health and Our Changing Climate: Impacts, Implications, and Guidance” by the American Psychological Association, Climate for Health, and ecoAmerica. She is the author of five books, including “Emotional Resiliency in the Era of Climate Change” and “All the Feelings Under the Sun,” a book for tweens. Davenport is a regular contributor to the Generation Dread “Ask a Climate Therapist” column on Substack. She is an adviser to the Post Carbon Institute, Climate Mental Health Network, and One Resilient Earth.
