Leticia Guzman Ingram is a teacher and coordinator of the English Language Development (ELD) Program at Basalt High School. Named 2016 Colorado Teacher of the Year, she also received the Virginia French Allen Award for Excellence in Teaching and was honored as the Colorado Department of Education’s ELD Teacher of the Year by. Ingram has visited and studied the Finnish educational system as part of an educational scholarship program and facilitated a workshop in summer 2016 at Edith Stein College in the Netherlands. She advocates for educators through her work on the Aspen Institute’s National Commission on Social, Emotional, and Academic Development and with Protect Public Education Now.
